The Mumbai Tragedy

There's not really much to say about this.

Of course it's ridiculously horrible.

A couple positive "silver linings"

1. White people now know the town's name is "Mumbai"
2. White Americans see good "brown" people on the TV.

Also, watching Fareed Zakaria interview Ratan Tata on CNN is an exceptionally proud moment, letting the people who are most directly affected by this event discuss it, rather than having fat old white men talk about something they know next to nothing about.

You are quite a piece of work. Do you have Angela Davis tattooed on your rear end ? Do you fancy yourself some kind of warrior of the blogs sitting there behind a keyboard claiming to bring attention to all of America's and White people's evils ? And the Mumbai incident was not a "tragedy". A tragedy is an accident or an earthquake. This was no more a tragedy than say the lynchings of Blacks that you rail on about. This was murder pure and simple. Can you get that through your thick skull numbnuts ? Oh and have fun in San Francisco . I guess you will be sitting at a table for one.

"You are quite a piece of work"

Hey Thanks!

"Do you fancy yourself some kind of warrior of the blogs sitting there behind a keyboard claiming to bring attention to all of America's and White people's evils ? "

No. I just say my opinions like everyone else out there.

"This was no more a tragedy than say the lynchings of Blacks that you rail on about. This was murder pure and simple."

I dont understand, are you suggesting I'm making light of the deaths and events in mumbai? give me a break. Should I change the blog post to mumbai murders? would you all of a sudden agree with the POV.

it's you who are the piece of work. who can't even identify yourself. Im arguing with 5 different f*cking anons.

"Oh and have fun in San Francisco . I guess you will be sitting at a table for one."

Ratan Tata is a fat old white man himself, but yeah, he was directly affected by it. Him and his multi-billion dollar empire....

"Ratan Tata is a fat old white man himself"

you're completely missing the point. god forbid there are some wealthy non-whites in the world.

But Ratan Tata is not non-white. He is white. Have you seen him?
Tata - arayan (iranian, persian) ancestry.

THE_HMF said...

wow. and you subscribe to the racist aryan invasiion theory bullshit.

No. I did not say I subscribed to the invasion theory. However Tata's are of Persian ancestry. The area of Afghanistan westward into Iran used to be called "Aryana". That is why Iran is "iran". Came from Aryana. Parsees (Zorastrians) have been in India for several hundreds of years now. Their main center is Mumbai.

Ever been to India by the way?

"However Tata's are of Persian ancestry. "

They're still not white. You know by white I meant of European ancestry, further more, I meant in an American context, Mr. Tata is very much "foreign" or "brown" or whatever "othering" word you want to use.

And it was refreshing to see Fareed Zakaria interviewing him.

Aren't Persians considered "caucasian"????

depends who you ask. according to us v. bhagat singh, no.
